The Grandote Steakhouse is located at the Grandote Peaks Golf Course (in the clubhouse) in La Veta, Colorado.     First time visitor with my wife as we chose them for a Saturday breakfast. Thought there was a good selection to choose from and service was good as well. We had the eggs benedict and smothered breakfast burrito that we would recommend to others. We plan on dining again in the future to try their dinner menu.

    It’s was a special date with the wife, Valentines Day. The Shamrock had a dinner special. We had the Scottish eggs, lobster bisque and the filet with a lobster tail. Everything was amazing for dinner! We did order the cheesecake to go, unbelievable how amazing the Carmel apple cheesecake with pecan was. Definitely would recommend this place for anyone. If you haven’t had the chicken green chili mac. I would highly suggest giving it a try.
