Fatto a Mano Pizzeria serves authentic Neapolitan pizza & independent craft beers alongside sides and desserts. Our dough is made fresh daily and proved slowly, meaning we're able to use minimal quantities of yeast and our pizzas are light. Our commitment is to quality, and we use carefully selected Italian and local British ingredients from a handful of small, independent suppliers to top our pizzas.Beers on tap include our own Fatto Bionda Helles Lager and Joosy Hazy Pale from Brighton’s UnBarred, and The Kernel’s Table Beer. We work with small producers as long term partners, including Fior Di Latte Mozzarella sourced from Caserta, Campania and wines imported directly from private Italian growers.     Service was attentive, but not particularly warm. Others at the bar and front of the restaurant had better service. Bartender clearly loves his job, so would recommend sitting there if you don’t want privacy. Regular tables are packed very tightly together. Food was fantastic - we had the scallops, lamb and potatoes. All were well presented and packed with flavour. We only needed a light meal as we’d been eating our way around the city, but if here for a full meal, I’d recommend 3 mains and a couple of sides for 2 people. Wine and cocktails are all reasonably priced.

    We booked for 9 of us for a celebration of a successful business event. They were lovely letting us change our reservation time without much notice. The staff were amazing and brought a special tiramisu with a candle for my daughter. The pizza was outstanding, some of the best we have ever had. Lots of choice with Christmas specials too. It was fabulous value for money too for a large family celebration. I am just sad they don’t have one where I live in York! Fancy a move north guys?!?!
