Restaurants near Beinn a' Chreachain

Slightly disappointed as we had look at the online menu and decided that it was a good choice and had a few options that we were going to choose. Got there (15th Feb) and found only a limited Valentines menu was available and the options from the main menu that we would have chosen were not available.

A firm favourite for my good lady and I, whether that be for morning coffee and scones sitting by the log burner, lunch or dinner, had booked a Saturday night dinner to celebrate Valentines Day plus start of holiday. As always, staff very friendly, bar and restaurant area really warm and welcoming - food was outstanding. Would always recommend as have found all aspects to a very high and friendly standard. This is my favourite steak restaurant in Glasgow and hence why once again I chose it for my Birthday lunch with family. My wife had obviously told them that it was my birthday so there was a birthday card on the table..a nice touch. Anyway starters were excellent with the pork cheek and tiger prawn being superb. I had had the philly cheese steak spring rolls previously and knew these were really filling however my son had these and they looked superb. We all had fillet steaks cooked to either medium rare or medium and all were cooked to perfection. Accompanied by hand cut chips we also had sides of onion rings, rocket and parmesan, mac and cheese and glazed carrots and by the end we were all full although I did not have a dessert my wife and future daughter in law did and they looked brilliant. Have been twice now and staff were extremely pleasant and very accommodating, ensuring we had a table where there was plenty of room for my dog. An ignorant fellow diner made nasty comments about my dog being there but that is obviously nothing to do with the staff or restaurant. The food was great, although very garlicky, and reasonably priced.
