Lovely spot. Remodel worked out really well. Food is good, not great, but as good as any inn kona. Staff is warm and friendly; you feel like you’re home

We had a late lunch for my husband’s birthday. Everything was stellar, yet again! I can’t say enough good things about this restaurant. Put simply, the food is phenomenal, the service is too. We drive over an hour and a half, to come here for all our special occasions. Today we had the Warm Goat and Macadamia nut appetizer followed by Crab and Avocado salad (my favorite) and Shrimp and Crab Cajun pasta. Both excellent. Followed by the house made Piña Colada cake- which is a dreamy concoction of white chocolate mouse , coconut and pineapple chunks that tumble out of the cake. Thanks again for another great birthday!

Service was great as was the food! I highly recommend the Fish Hopper, Kona, HI. Parking can be a bit challenging, so give yourself some extra time to find a paring spot. Reservations are a must…it’s a very popular restaurant and you might be able to walk in, but much easier and relaxing with a reservation. If you need handicapped parking or wheelchair entry, there’s only one spot near the back door. The ramp into the restaurant is perfect…especially if you get lucky to get the one spot. Surprisingly good fish and lovely views with excellent service. Looked like a tourist trap but was super glad we went.
