Restaurants near Baxter House

It was a good experience. Our server was great, the food was great. The downside was that our table was along the direct path to and from the hibachi room. So I felt like there was a constant parade of people, many of whom simply stared at us as they walked by. Of course this isn’t anything Kon could change without installing a separate entrance to the hibachi room.

Great dining experience -- creative dishes that mix French, Mexican and Italian; wonderful presentation; and a comfortable, warm and welcoming atmosphere. I especially appreciate a small yet thoughtful menu. Enjoyed sitting at the bar and talking with our fantastic bartender and serving Brian. Looking forward to going back.

Service is impeccable. Every dish was presented beautifully and was delicious. My favorite spot.. highly recommend.

Food was phenomenal, seating was a tad bit uncomfortable at the high tops but all around good vibes. Great place to stop for a bite but definitely not comfortable enough to sit for a long time. Food will keep my going back though, the tacos were chefs kiss

Great neighborhood establishment, beautiful new building with great staff & food for fair prices without the pretentious Portland crowds. Never disappoints
