Restaurants near Azalea Plaza Shopping Center

Great experience as always! The food is delicious. I’ve ordered something different on each visit and it’s always amazing! Only weird thing I noticed is how particular they are about seating you right at your reservation time. We always show up 5-10 minutes early and even when there are plenty of tables ready, they wait to seat us until the exact rezo time on the dot. So typically there are 4-5 parties standing in the foyer with the same rezo time waiting. Interesting they won’t seat people even a couple minutes early. Doesn’t impact my review but just something funny I have noticed each time we dine there.

This was our second visit to the new location, across the street from the original one in the hotel. The ambiance is so much nicer. Everyone working there was wonderful, from the hostesses, to waitstaff, and management just checking to be sure we were well taken care of. Our waitress, Shelly, was helpful, thoughtful, and attentive. Our food was excellent. We ordered off the pre fixed menu. It’s the first time I chose not to get a beef entree (the petite filet is my usual choice). I must say, the pork chop was tender, delicious, and enormous! We will definitely be returning!

Another great visit to Seabird, one of the best restaurants in Wilmington. This visit was for Brunch, great menu with many local options. We was sitting right away, the restaurant was busy with only one other table sitting empty (not for long), but the restaurant was running smoothly, and we was greeted by our server right away,- The server explained the menu, and pointed out what made some of the dishes extra special. We order coffee (served fresh and hot) right away, and we order our entrees. Both entrees was delivered in 10 minutes, and was delicious! We will be back again soon! What I really love about Restaurant Seabird is that the restaurant is great for so many things…. A drink (or two) at the Bar, many times with a couple of appetizers, for a great casual meal on a weekday, for a nice get together, dressed up a little for Friday or Saturday and of course for Brunch on the weekends…. You will be happy if you visit, I do recommend making a reservation for the dining room, have always been able to get a chair or two at the Bar !

We had a great Valentine's Day dinner at G Prime last night, our first visit there. Val, you have a wonderful, well trained, talented, and personable crew from front to back. And the dinner, drink, and dessert were all perfect. We'll be back often, with friends. as we've already started recommending they visit. Personally, I had 12 years owning and managing an upscale steak and seafood restaurant in a past life. I am very happy to be out of the business, but fortunate enough to be able to appreciate a great dining experiences like the one we had last night. You're clearly doing a great job at G Prime. I wish you and Giorgios all the success and joy this business can and will bring to you, and to your guests.

We were greeted warmly, Flower waited on us very attentively and we were never waiting on her. The cauliflower soufflé was awesome. The filet I had and the burger my wife had were both great. Very delicious and well presented. We also enjoyed the wedge salads. Thanks for a great experience !!!
