Welcome to GEO our newly designed restaurant. Experience ‘Never Ordinary’ dining.Geo means earth. It can also mean the world. Our inspiration comes from around the globe, but our ingredients come from just around the corner.Ireland has an embarrassment of culinary riches, with some of the world’s best seafood and produce pulled from our local farms and coastlines, just minutes and miles away from where you sit right now, and when you sit down at our table, that’s what you’ll get. In a more cheffy mood,we might use words like “provenance” and “terroir” to talk about our menu. But what we really mean is food that captures the energy and excitement of being right here, right now, in this exact place.Savoring the moment, the experience, the taste, and the company.

Fabulous Afternoon Tea at Ashford Castle 😊 From the moment we arrived on the grounds of the Castle we were looked after…The Castle was beautifully decorated for the festive season. Our booking was in The Connaught Room & the room is exquisite…the food was amazing & there was a big selection of teas. Loughlan looked after us very well. Would definitely recommend Ashford Castle for Afternoon Tea.

I went to Sophies for a Christmas night out with my friend. The place looked perfect for a Christmas meet-up. Our pizzas were delicious as were our cocktails. We had enough space around us to be able to speak to each other without feeling overheard. The place was busy but noise wasn't overwhelming. The best part was the young woman who was serving us. She was really friendly, accommodating, and had a good sense of humour. She made the experience so much better. I am sorry that I didn't take her name to thank her here. In a city that's overwhelming at Christmas we had a lovely night at Sophies that was relaxing and enjoyable. Well done to all involved!

We found this gem of a place 2 years ago and travel from sligo to eat here. The staff are lovely, the athmosphere is peaceful and calm. We are a family of 2 adults and 2 children, the menu is easy to read and has a good choice. The dumplings are a firm favourite we enjoyed the platter. Having a variety was nice. Its lovely to go to a restaurant where the food is really fresh, its light but very tasty and great value for money. 5 starters, 4 main courses, drinks for 119 euro. Compared to what we normally pay this to us is great value for money. Looking forward to our next meal there.
