One star was lost because of two things: (1) the table was not wiped before giving us the dessert menu. There were crumbs on the table; (2) the Negroni did not have the big square ice cube but had ice chunks. We had a lovely cozy booth upstairs and so many of the staff came by to say happy birthday. It was lovely! She felt very special! She has dined all over the world at the top steakhouses. She rated Hys right up there with the best she has tried. And mom loved the bananas foster-hardly any places do this anymore and it was fantastic. Thank you Hys for making birthday 12 so special!
