The story of St Andrews Beach Brewery dates back to the early 2000’s, when our Co-founder Andrew Purchase built the racetrack on the property for the royal family of Australian horse racing – the Freedman Brothers. I must say that I have been to this place several times and enjoyed the relaxed coastal vibe it has. This is largely due to the location which overlooks the Anglesea river, but also the old weatherboard building and covered veranda that comprise it. This makes it ideal to enjoy some of the yummy food, largely geared towards sharing, and accompanied by a refreshing drink. On Sundays there is the bonus of catching some fine local music as well, which on our visit featured the laidback tunes of the Beachniks. Now that is exactly how I would want to spend every Sunday afternoon.
