Restaurants near Amicalola Falls State Park

My wife had the steak fritters and I had the butternut squash risotto, both were very good. We had drinks also that were exactly how we like them. Our hostess/waitress Sophia was absolutely wonderful and made our dining experience a real pleasure. Our friends were very impressed with how friendly and attentive she was to our table. We definitely will be going back and will always request Sophia who also works the bar area too.

We enjoyed The Select for their Christmas Eve Prix Fixe. We had the trout and vegan plate and loved both. The sorbet and pear tart were excellent. The Reindeer Don’t Drink mocktail was delicious. The restaurant was decorated beautifully and our waitstaff was highly attentive!

We had a lunch with a party of 8. The service was flawless- helpful, quick, efficient, but not hovering. Our orders arrived in about 10 min, and everything was as ordered. The food was very good, and the portions were filling. The view from Canoe is wonderful- overlooking some gardens on the bank of the Chattahoochee. Canoe has never disappointed me, and this meal didn't either.

Persian food done right in beautiful surroundings. Our server Hana was awesome and was super helpful with helping us make selections and understand the gift card process. She did not rush us and provided excellent service. We had the kashke badamjoon for our appetizer - great portion size and tasted exactly like it should. We had the chicken barg with zeresk polo for our main course which was really good and made great leftovers.

Tyler and his staff (front of house and kitchen) have clearly been working hard, it shows. The steak was cooked perfectly, the special of the day (soup and entree) were delicious. Marie and Colin delivered exceptional service. Oh and don’t miss the ginger cheesecake, perfection! (Special shout out to the baker❤️, keep it up).
