We were visiting Amelia Island and were looking for Italian food and stumbled upon Cucina South. What a pleasant surprise as the menu featured pasta carbonara, my favorite. Cucina South has a good selection of wines, and we sampled 30 Degrees, a cabernet sauvignon. It paired well with the steaming dish of pasta carbonara and the lamb chops that emerged from the kitchen. Lots of pancetta on the carbonara, no stinting there. It was a huge plate of pasta that was so delicious that I enjoyed it all in one sitting. I’ll be going for extra walks this week for sure, but won’t regret a single minute of the eating, it was sooo goooood. Also very nice owners and the chef came out to chat with us. If you are visiting Amelia Island, definitely check out Cucina South. I know we will be returning.More infoCucina SouthPrice: Expensive• Italian• Fernandina Beach•4.4

We were greeted by very friendly hostess and taken care of by a great waitress! The food was delicious and served perfectly to order! The portions were very generous and prepared perfectly! The prices were very fair for what we got! Can’t wait to go back.More infoBob’s Steak & Chop House – Amelia IslandPrice: Expensive• Steakhouse• Amelia Island•4.7
