Built in 1880, The Inn was at one time a brothel, until it was raided by federal officers. The Inn was a favorite site of cowboys and teamsters, who appreciated the fine foods and jovial atmosphere.Over 100 years later, the Inn at Tres Pinos is now a San Benito County Historical Landmark, carefully restored by owner, Mike Howard. We eat here several times a year for many years. They have the most professional wait staff of any restaurant we have ever been to. They also will "split plates" at no extra charge which works out to half price meals. As seniors we don't overeat any more so his works out perfect for us.

Haven't had such a perfect dining experience in a LONG time! We were celebrating a friend's completion of chemotherapy, which means he had no immune system. Our hostess offered the private room so that he'd be safe. This, even though they had a full house. She even sanitized our menu for us!! On top of that, every bit of her service was perfect...attentive, came to our table frequently enough without being intrusive, food came fast and was absolutely delicious. We both agreed that this was the perfect dining experience and will be back for sure.

Loved everything. I got the chicken Marsala it was absolutely delicious. My cocktail & dessert didn’t disappoint either. Loved the ambiance of the restaurant. The staff was nothing but friendly & attentive. Will definitely go back!!
