Just been for Xmas lunch and wow!! Beautiful food that was so tasty and plentiful. Come hungry as portions are rather large. Our party enjoyed the different soups then crispy ham knuckle and duck. Mum and I had chicken schnitzel and their version of a pizza. Absolutely first class and perfect service. We finished with an apple strudel and rolled out stuffed!! Visit and you will not be disappointed. Thank you Schildkroete for the perfect family Xmas lunch.

We had a delightful dinner the other day with pasta, calamari and affogato, it is our first visit to Berlin so it was a pleasant surprise. The food and service were so good we booked dinner for the next night too! Thank you for a great night, it’s a gem of a restaurant with a lovely team

Excellent food and wonderful polite and efficient service even during a very busy lunchtime rush. Elegant and friendly vibe. Very nice wine list and wine by the glass.

Service was very good. Didn’t have steak had the Rib which just fell apart my partner had hummus and beef dish. Glass of wine to which was a good measure.
