- LlaurieNew York City •6 reviews5.0Dined 2 days agoA lovely Thanksgiving dinner with my husband and daughter. Wonderful food options that were delicious. Service was excellent. This was our first experience at the “new” ES. Happy you’re back and we’ll be back!More infoEastern StandardPrice: Expensive• American• Fenway–Kenmore•4.5
- RRamGreater Boston •10 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoThis place is a lot of fun. The food is pretty basic but it is entertaining to grill it yourself, and the sauces and marinades make it quite tasty. The atmosphere is very lively. Overall, I would recommend this to go with a group of friends or family.More infoGyu-Kaku Japanese BBQ - Brookline, MA | Beacon StreetPrice: Expensive• Japanese• Brookline•4.6

In the great Eastern Standard tradition (Standard Italian is owned by the same group), the recipes are innovative, and the meals were beautifully plated and delicious. Cocktails, as always, were a huge hit (Jackson Cannon is a bar legend! And the vesper was wonderfully prepared and served — plus, you may not find a more generous pour in Boston). Try the porchetta and the meatballs for sure; the cannoli were also fabulous. And Nisa, our server, was so friendly and passionate about the dishes she recommended and served. Great experience all the way around!More infoStandard ItalianPrice: Expensive• Contemporary Italian• Back Bay•5
- MMandyGreater Boston •11 reviews5.0Dined on Nov 9, 2024Everything was excellent but I would suggest dimming the lights earlier. We sat in the space right before the bar and it was too bright around 730p. The lights were eventually dimmed and it made the place more inviting. Also instead of chairs, i think more bench seating like you already have near the bar would enhance the experience and allow for more flexibility for seating different numbers of groupsMore infoEqual MeasurePrice: Moderate• Bar / Lounge / Bottle Service• Fenway–Kenmore•4.8
