Opened on December 13, 2014 (yes, 12/13/14!) in a historic building at the corner of Woodward and Canfield. The Huma Room on the second floor features half of a black 1973 Cadillac Fleetwood mounted behind the wall and an outdoor patio. Located on Woodward Ave, it's easy to jump on the QLine or walk down to Little Caesars Arena, Comerica Park, or Ford Field. HopCat was founded on the principles of bringing local craft beer a bit closer to the communities we love. We’re known for our award-wining Cosmik fries, which are beer battered, sprinkled with our signature cracked black pepper seasoning, and served with a side of warm cheese sauce.     What a great location and a fine menu. Interesting choices on the menu and the food was tasty. The server was perfect amount of attentive and leaving us alone too. I wish the wine list was a little more robust, especially by the glass. We ended up with a bottle, but I found the choices not as interesting as I hoped. Also, I asked they make it special for a birthday and they did this! And you can't beat this location, especially at the holiday season!

    The food was fantastic! The halibut was absolutely perfect and the tagliatelle was spectacular. We really enjoyed sitting at the chef's counter and watching the fire. Our server was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall a great experience! Can't wait to visit again. Definitely order the bread!

    First time experiencing Sexy Steak and I have to admit, it was everything that I heard. Haley was our server and she had great attentiveness, conversation and social awareness!!! My husband absolutely LOVED his Steak and preparing my salad FRESH in front of me was a game changer… we will be back!!
