Chef Luciano Canova was born in 1949, on a small farm just outside of Rome, Italy. Chef Luciano grew up with his parents & grandparents where good food, using the freshest of ingredients, was always a staple. His passion for food was instilled in him as a small child in his home and led him to attend the prestigious Culinary Institute of Italy. After graduating, Luciano worked all around the world perfecting his craft in places like Switzerland, Germany, and on a luxury cruise line.  The Torre Restaurant Group family of restaurants has grown to serve customers throughout Southern New England with authentic Italian food. We have eight locations, all offering different ways to explore the many tastes of Italy! Our newest location here in Mansfield, is the first location that merges all our dining concepts into one.     Another great night here, the wife enjoyed the Steak and you can never go wrong with the Crab Rangoon Flatbread. On top of that there was a nice surprise: welcome home Brandon!!!

    We ordered the special Wygau for two with mash potatoes and brussel sprouts. For $80 I expected more food. I understand the steak is expensive, that wasn't the issue. There was barely any brussel sprouts and not enough mashed potatoes. Our server Stephanie was attentive although it was very busy due to Valentines day. Overall a good experience. Very modern restaurant will come back

    I was looking forward to meeting up with close friends for lunch because the atmosphere is always lovely … and the food is delicious 😋 Well, I generally order the delicious breakfast burger with the seasoned fries and have never been disappointed! However, I decided to change things up and order the veggie wrap! WOW! It was scrumptious! Can’t wait to go back again and enjoy another one! My meal was not as photogenic as some of my lunch guests, so I have included photos of their meals! Needless to say, I highly recommend LaFamilia!
