Restaurants near Jackson Community Park

I don’t know if it was Open Table’s fault or Astoria Grill’s fault. I tried to make a reservation on 3/11/2025 and was told there were none available. I would be notified if something came available. Never was notified. However 20 mins before my arrival, I checked the app. There were 4 openings. I made one. When I got to the restaurant, they weren’t nearly booked as they portrayed. Many empty tables. Didn’t really see a need for a reservation on a Weds evening

I’m extremely impressed! I’ve been hearing good things about this place for a couple years now and finally got the chance to check it out. Not only is the building itself rich in history, the interior design is unique and classy. I ordered a flatbread and a desert-they were both delicious! They also have mock-tail drinks and a good selection of vegetarian/vegan/gf options. I’m looking forward to trying something else on the menu. Blaine was our server and he really was the cherry on top of the overall experience. 10/10!

We reserved a table we were seated right away our original waitress never came over after an hour we went and got our own drinks a manager stopped by the table to ask how our waitress was doing we informed him she never came so he said I'll send right out another 45 min still nothing so management asked again this time he sent a different waitress which we loved her she was friendly very apologic even got a free shareable and discount for waiting. Manager and new waiter really saved our visit we usually come about 6 to 9 times a year and spend over 400 each time so for a waitress to refuse us service or never even check on us after management has spoken to them is unprofessional period and there was no excuse the new waiter was just as busy but made time to check on us the whole night even after paying the bill and tipping her out for the night!

California chicken sandwich best ever had. Excellent .

The young man was very helpful and pleasant, The Host made sure we had a table that could accommodate our party even though i added a person.
