Chocolate Buddha undertook an AMAZING renovation in 2019 by Maddison Architects. We have a 22 seater SUSHI TRAIN open Wednesday to Sunday lunches 12 - 3pm and Wednesday to Saturday Dinners 5 - 8pm it includes an EXPRESS train which delivers hot food ordered via a tablet. We offer QR menus at each table for ease of ordering, splitting bills and menu with pictures and descriptions. This type of ordering is optional so always let us know if you prefer to order with us.     We dined on a hot day. 36C. The lack of air conditioning made it an uncomfortable sitting. Saying that … the food was amazing! The staff friendly, accomodating when we requested to move to a cooler position. Knowledgeable about how much we should order … they were spot in. I will def be recommending to friends & will be back. Just not on a hot day. The seafood platter & meat platter fed 5 of us. The halloumi chips were some of the best we’ve had.

    Always great! Our request to have a table with chairs with backs was fulfilled… i even received a message confirming that would happen. VERY reassuring and personal for such a busy restaurant - THANK YOU. The service was fantastic as we had to leave by a certain time. Highly recommended 😊

    If you're even in Melbourne for a holiday or a local, you're life won't feel as fulfilling until you've experienced Meatmaiden, I can't make this up! The food was impeccable, the service was amazing, and the atmosphere is second to none. If I could afford it, I would go every night.
