Restaurants near Courtyard by Marriott Kaua'i at Coconut Beach

I heard of this restaurant last year & never made it around to check it out until recently making a reservation for me & my other half for date night. I think the food is phenomenal, I got the filet mignon which was served with truffle potato pure (mashed potatoes) w/baked pearl onions & cut mushrooms which was a solid 10/10, perfect medium rare by the way. I order it every single time. My other half liked the Miso Carbonara & loved the Kauai Shrimp Caesar (w/out shrimp) he says the wasabi Caesar dressing was very tasty. We like to sit at the bar, it's quicker service & the seating isn't as cramped. I like to recognize Casey our bartender, his work ethic & service is 11/10, bar is clean, neat & bar presentation is on point. Since its a small restaurant, with only 2 cooks in the front serving a full house makes the seating & wait time for food pretty long. I recommend making an early reservation time definitely before 7:30pm. Me & my other half are becoming regulars here. As a Native Hawaiian & Island Concierge I'll definitely be referring people.

Laura and I celebrated our 28 year wedding anniversary at Moamoa Hawaiian Fish House on Valentine's day ! Dessert was OUT of this world! Amazing! Mahalo to Julian, Art, Ace, Maurice, Tim, Ryan and the rest of the GREAT crew. WORLD class view, food and service. I will tell the WORLD !

Beach front table waiting for us as requested. Welcome birthday glass of champagne when we were seated. Very relaxed ambience. We weren't rushed at all. Food was great - Taro chips to start, then salad with beef short rib for mains. All very delicious, beef melted in your mouth. We have eaten here every time we come to Kauai for over 10 years and this restaurant never disappoints. A bonus was an incredible whale show just offshore right in front of the restaurant.

Great drinks and food, bartenders and servers were all very nice and attentive. Service was quick. Quality of food was very good but Caesar dressing was a bit weird ((I still ate it) and I don’t think pickled onions belong on a Caesar even tho I like pickled onions. The servings were generous. Wings and fish and chips were yummy.

From the moment Art our waiter greeted us, we felt very comfortable. The food was excellent. Great lay out and the sportsmen’s of food was great. The nature Thanksgiving dinner and experience was superb. Please give a shout out to Art as he is #1!
