Our inspiration is the Zeus Faber… John Dory, one of many local fish that can be fished sustainably and from our shores and although it has a wonderful Latin come Greek name it also has a very British name, John Dory. Faber is the Latin word for ‘Smith’ – Like a few other Latin occupational names (e.g. Agricola for farmer, Nauta for sailor). Smith being the most common name in English we decided it sits well with our name as we want to be accessible to all and give everyday people the opportunity to be part of our journey and own the business they work in.What sets us apart is our commitment to working with local fishmongers who run out to the coast each evening to collect day-boat fish and local ingredients. This means that everything on our menu is fresh, sustainably sourced, and supports the local economy. We believe in creating dishes that are not only delicious but also ethical and responsible.

Situated in the throng of Hammersmith, The Hop Poles is a great choice for any occasion. Be it grabbing dinner and drinks before laughing for hours at top billed comics at The Apollo or taking in a new show at The Lyric, after work drinks with your colleagues or parents visiting you in London. Organising a meeting or training day and need to use a good-sized function room that doesn’t resemble a matchbox? Fancy some lunch that isn’t a pre packed chilled sandwich, or just parking the car somewhere to avoid that ruddy congestion charge! Our friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere and welcoming environment makes The Hop Poles the obvious answer. We have different seating areas and for private function, and roof terrace. We have a great selection of lagers, beers and cask ales.

'The Crabtree, with its spectacular position downstream from The River Cafe, has a huge sprawling garden, a glazed colonnade and frontage on to theThames shaded by a weeping willow. The prawns in chilli hot oil and the toastspread with tomatoes and onions were good, so much so we ordered themagain when we returned for Sunday lunch. Sunday roasts with 'all thetrimming's' - we tried beef and pork - had everything a Sunday roast shouldhave. Somewhere rather spiffing to go' (Fay Machsler, Evening Standard)

Patri has several meanings, in Hindi it means Pavement, in Urdu it means Track and in ancient Sanskrit its means a vessel or small furnace. The name took us back to our origins and we decided to use Pavement, Tracks, and Furnace to come up with a street food menu containing all three elements. Our starters are street food classics on pavements in India and Pakistan. Our grills are freshly cooked in the tandoor at over 400 degrees to replicate cooking in a furnace. Our curries are inspired by the railway cooks on train journeys in India.Founder and Head Cook Puneet Wadhwani, has created a never-before-seen menu bringing to life the snacks and dishes he once ate as a child growing up within a bicycle ride of New Delhi train station.Experience the depth and aromas of Proper Indian Street Food. With a small yet cozy outdoor deck enjoy our award-winning food and sip cocktails, medal-winning wines, and craft beer in a leafy village surrounding. Let us take you on a journey.

Opened in 1996 the Havelock Tavern is one of London's original gastro pubs. Unlike many others that have come and gone since, we have changed very little over that time. Rather than become a restaurant in an old pub building, we focus on being a pub that serves really good food. The atmosphere is lively and informal so that anyone can eat, drink and feel at home. We are not trying to be sophisticated, but aim to provide you with a good, relaxing time. Our customers are a good mix of locals and others who have made the journey to spend an afternoon or evening with us. You are just as likely to see a table of mates catching up over a few pints as a couple tucking in to three courses. We have background music playing just to add to the already vibrant atmosphere.
