Restaurants near A-OK Motel

My family and hi celebrate yearly at WINSTAR CASINO. We always make sure that we have Thanksgiving dinner at Kirby‘s restaurant. Yesterday was no different. We had a wonderful dinner. There was only one thing that could’ve been better was my daughter and Son-in-law‘s steak. There was a lot fat in their steak. Overall, everything was very good. Perry's Steakhouse offers an inviting atmosphere with a beautifully designed restaurant that immediately sets the tone for a special dining experience. The customer service is impeccable, with attentive and friendly staff who ensure that guests feel welcome and well taken care of. Additionally, the sides and starters are a highlight – expertly prepared and absolutely delicious. They set high expectations for the rest of the meal. However, the steak, which should be the star of the show at a steakhouse, was a letdown. We ordered the Porterhouse for two, but it arrived lukewarm and lacked proper seasoning. For a dish that commands a premium price, the preparation and execution fell far short of expectations. While the rest of the meal was enjoyable, the disappointing steak overshadowed the experience, leaving us feeling that the value for the cost just wasn’t there. Perry's Steakhouse has the potential to offer a top-tier experience, but the lackluster steak quality detracted from what could have been a perfect evening. I hope they address these inconsistencies because the other elements of the restaurant are truly excellent.

We had a fun night catching up at Blue Ostrich Winery. This is not a pretentious Winery. Tasting menu was designed in 3 categories thT represented the 3 types of ostriches: Blue, Black and Red. The food we had was good tasting but very slow to be served- understanding if this was a busy night(I'm not convinced it was overly busy). Star-gazing in the filed outside was led by the owners of the powerful telescopes. They were so patient and shared their knowledge freely. Yes, I recommend going during star-gazing events!

Our favorite place….Macey is exceptional. Ownership is extraordinary…
