We also got to dine during the sunset which made the evening that much more magical.More infoHula Grill - KaanapaliPrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Kaanapali•4.5

Highly recommend the Hawaiian Ahi Poke, the Caesar Salad. We had the Parmesan Crusted fish and the Tristan Island Lobster tails. Hula Pie is a big hit if you like ice cream cake desserts. They give you a huge slice! Views are breathtaking.More infoLeilani's on the Beach - KaanapaliPrice: Moderate• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Lahaina•4.6

- KkaylaSan Francisco Bay Area •6 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoLove the ambiance, (we could have sat there all day) the live music and food! We went for a late lunch and had tacos and saiman. My daughter loved the tacos.. Korean bbq (?), definitely some spice there, the saiman was not what I expected however my bias should not deter anyone from trying it! The texture of the noodles was lovely, I just wasn’t sure about the broth- not quite pho and not quite ramen, the herb mixture had me confused. We definitely highly recommend the sorbet ♥️. Yum. Our waiter James was amazing, super attentive and friendly, made the lunch even better! Thank you!More infoMonkeypod Kitchen by Merriman - Whalers VillagePrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Kaanapali•4.6

This wasn’t that. Ulu Kitchen had an interesting menu and was expensive but not outrageously so, especially by Maui standards. We made a reservation an hour before and were seated at a table parallel to right the path separating the restaurant from the beach. Importantly we were elevated a few feet above and maybe 10 feet back so it felt very private. Super attentive service from Loran who had a great command of the menu. My wife and I split a main (surf and Turf Duo) pairing a 7oz filet with lobster ravioli, mashed potatoes, beans and a bit of salad. Spectacular especially the ravioli which are harder to find than a good steak. We ended up trying 3 appetizers : Tako Escargot which is bits of poached octopus prepared escargot style and served in an escargot tray. Superb. Also the Manila Clams - the broth was excellent and the clams tender and fresh. And finally the crab cakes which were average but served with a nicely green cream sauce with a little kick. We would go again tomorrow just to eat the ravioli. Nice ambience although it can get windy and there is live music from 5 different places going on in the background. But we thoroughly enjoyed ourselvesMore infoUlu Kitchen by MerrimanPrice: Expensive• Hawaii Regional Cuisine• Kaanapali•4.6
