- AAngela TarkentonVIPWashington, D.C. Area •58 reviews5.0Dined 3 days agoOh my oh my! Wye Oak Tavern is beyond incredible. The setting is spectacular with the former church altar, statuary and organ pipes along with 30 foot high ceilings I’d guess? Josh, Cody and the bar staff craft incredible cocktails and create a welcoming and friendly atmosphere. As for the food and service. Impeccable. Period. We had steak tartare, cheese ravioli, an 18 oz gorgeous ribeye with duck fat fries and brussels!…and pear bread pudding for dessert. Stephanie was great fun while never missing a beat during service and Steve and his wine suggestions were close to perfect. By the way their wine list is an incredible value of some stellar wines at good prices and they managed to curate the list without need of 40 pages. Thank you. Everything you need without a bunch of excess to search through. We will be back soon and grateful we live only an hour away. Oh and the Visitation Hotel is lovely and we enjoyed staying the night. Nice to have a great place in walkable Frederick!More infoWye Oak TavernPrice: Expensive• American• Frederick•4.6
- VVaughnVIPWashington, D.C. Area •27 reviews5.0Dined 4 days agoOnce again, Magnolias at the Mill hit a home run. This time with their Valentine's Day dinner. The Prix Fixe menu was very good, with quite a selection. Service, as usual, was very good. We weren't rushed through our meal, and the timing was good. Our waiter, Bryan, did an outstanding job. Friendly and capable, he was willing to explain the dishes to us. Honorable mention goes to Chad. Although he didn't have our table, he recognized us from a past party we had there and was very welcoming. Of course, Alex at the front desk is always a welcome sight, a gracious and welcoming presence. Tyler Barrett was overseeing it all, and everything seemed to he running smoothly. Many thanks to Magnolias and everyone who made this holiday dinner special for my wife and I.More infoMagnolias at the millPrice: Expensive• American• Purcellville•4.8
