The Belgian Monk opened in December 2000. The main objective was to create something different yet to fit in with the way drinking and dining is changing. It has become a successful and established bar and restaurant, offering customers a choice of a regular selection of some 45 beers together with a selection of special beers. The menu is based on serving only the best products available freshly prepared daily, at realistic prices, in an informal relaxed "friends and family" atmosphere.     I booked our table on line so easy to do . 4 people Took mum and dad me and my fiancé. Zoey was brilliant and she was so attentive to my mum . The food was lovely Sunday roast , shepherds pie, the ivy burger and supreme chicken all dishes were delicious 😋 We have had great service and good food every time we go . Highly recommend a visit .

    Lovely experience. We had the Peter Pan afternoon tea and it was delicious! We also loved the added touch that £1 per afternoon tea is donated to St Ormond Street Hospital! The display was lovely with lots of fun details. We went on Valentine’s Day and it wasn’t too loud or crowded. We were celebrating a birthday and we received a birthday card and a little chocolate treat with a candle in on the arrival of our tray. Staff were polite and attentive. Highly recommend.

    We were greeted by front of house courteously and seated with an enviable view overlooking the market square. The service was faultless and the food was exampler, my wife and I were celebrating 25 years of marriage and the experience and ambience made our day. We shall return and I'd like to extend our gratitude to the Team for making our experience truly memorable.
