Restaurants near Quinta Alegria Shopping Mall

We had one of the BEST steaks we ever had. The drinks were amazing, the service was amazing and the atmosphere was perfect. I would definitely recommend this place if you’re ever in Playa

The food was great, although some dishes are wildly overpriced. The caesar salad and Branzino were worth it. The lamb definitely was not. Lots of small touches and the recipe for a wonderful experience; however, the service staff lacks the polish required to be charging the prices they charge. Ex: they refold your napkin every time you go to the washroom, but then throw your cutlery down on the table haphazardly when resetting. Also be warned that this restaurant sits on a busy pedestrian street and is an open air setting. It is in no way quiet or serene (nowhere in Playa del Carmen is). At any given time there is very loud music coming from 3+ sources (other restaurants and street buskers). Nice experience but overpriced.

Harry’s was a great experience. The service was great, the presentation of the food was awesome. The oysters were amazing, so was the truffle fettuccini and so was the cooked to perfection rib eye. The cotton candy after dinner is a beautiful touch. This is day 3 of our 10 day stay and we definately plan on coming back before we leave. Thank you to the amazing staff at Harry’s for the culinary experience for our Valentines dinner. The violinist made it especially wonderful too.
