General Public is inspired by trying to imagine what an upscale English pub would be if it had the heart of an American brasserie (and was open 11 to 11). It’s also going to signal a little bit of steakhouse, but not too much. And finally, it will look behind itself at the Black Hoof, which you will see reflected in James Santon’s menu here and there. In terms of vibe, the main floor is ‘everything’s gone green’, with lush comfortable banquette seating, warm wood, and barstools designed for long conversations over many cocktails. Upstairs you’ll find a completely different space that transports you to a peachy 80s dream.     Always reliably good food at Joey’s . The servers went out of their way to be friendly. One day I’ll find out why the picture sign to a wheel chair accessible toilet point to the staircase. :)

    Excellent atmosphere. Definietly recommend. Its our second time there and again we came with our infant daughter and they were unprepared. They accommodated but only after they realized that their approach would hamper our childs safety and then they complied. Exact same thing happened the time before. Please train your staff to handle seating families with infants that will remain in their stroller basket. THe unprepared approach makes it a bit annoying.

    Jen Agg has done it again - this restaurant might be her best yet. Absolutely a delight to dine there. The decor is warm and in her signature style and the food — THE FOOD!! Amazingly delicious and unique in their own “English gastro pub” homage. We all ordered different things and everyone was pleased with their dishes. The cocktails - on point. Can’t wait to come back!
