His ingredient-driven cooking style, paired with a love for global flavors, results in an inventive menu of fish and shellfish dishes, and a range of vegetable preparations. Taking a detailed, seasonal, and sustainable approach with small and large plate offerings, the kitchen brings new life to the favorite hallmarks of American oyster bar fare and raw bar. We're SERIOUS about fun food. That means despite our chill atmosphere, all our burgers and bites are hand-crafted from scratch and made-to-order. From our homemade buns to our hand-smashed 100% certified angus beef burgers, our food is meticulously hand-picked by Executive Chef Pryce Morhalo using only the freshest ingredients. We're raising the bar for casual dining. And frankly, we’re in a league of our own. Our Shoobie Shakes shook Philly. They're straight out of dream: a massive milkshake, swirled with whipped cream and fresh chocolate, rimmed with the dust of cookies or graham crackers, and topped with decadent desserts—an entire slice of cake, or a melt-in-your-mouth s’more. But these milkshakes aren’t just for kids. Our shakes deliver an unforgettable experience to cherish with someone special. Dietary restrictions? No problem. We're proud to offer a wide variety of vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free options, making our dining experience exclusively inc

Inspired by the cuisines of Puebla and Veracruz, El Rey captures the essence of Mexican home cooking. Boisterous and broken-in like a laidback roadside cantina, the dining room hums from midday to late-night. Folk art, kitchsy found objects and vintage movie posters adorn the walls, providing plenty of visual stimuli for eaters digging into authentic tacos, tortas, enchiladas, sopes and more. Add a bar stocked with the best tequilas, mezcals and cervezas and you’ve got a cantina fit for a king.

We were greeted, seated and then treated to a lovely dining experience. We started with a couple of the specialty cocktails-Romarin and Nouveau Basilic: their pour was generous as our drinks lasted through our meals. A bonus of a basket of bread was brought to our table, such a rarity! Baguette, sourdough and what seamed a seasonal bread with cranberry and walnuts with beurre---seemed such a treat! Our waiter was attentive and made well informed dinner suggestions after asking us our preferences and we enjoyed the beef bourguignon; duck a l'orange and roasted chicken. Parc has made our top 10 list of places to eat while in Philly!

Charming re-creation of an English Pub. English Pub food has gotten much better than it once was, and The Dandelion's food was excellent. From the Dandelion salad to the Root vegetable soup to the Rabbit Pie, all excellent. Our server (I regret I've forgotten her name) was perfect - friendly, efficient, professional. Only negative (for us) was the noise level - we ate upstairs during the lunch rush, and it was busy and noisy with energetic conversations with several tables of 6 or so surrounding us, which of course has pros and cons. But still highly recommended. We did not inquire if a quieter table was available - I think it may have been.
