La Petite Auberge charms with its "delicious" cuisine, friendly staff, and inviting atmosphere. Ideal for pre-theatre meals, it offers a "wide choice of menu" and "fantastic service." While some dishes could be improved, the house red and coq au vin are standouts. Book early for a table!

I don’t often dine in that part of town, but when I knew I’d be near Angel for a concert, Le Petite Auberge was the first place that came to mind. I hadn’t been there in over 10 years, so I was thrilled to discover it was still there. The atmosphere, ambiance, staff, and food were just as I remembered them—like reconnecting with an old friend: comfortable, easy, and a delight to return to. The food was wonderful. I started with the Salade de Chèvre Chaud and followed with the Entrecôte Grillée—just as delicious as I remembered. I cannot recommend this charming restaurant highly enough. It’s a gem, and I won’t let so much time pass before my next visit.

Standard French style food. Super busy and very, very noisy. Our starters came quickly and were good, but then had to wait over an hour for our mains. We had ordered the Xmas dinner. The turkey was ok, the broccoli & carrots were good. The toast parsnip was hard and tasted like it had been boiled then briefly fried in oil. Awful. The roast potatoes were lukewarm, hard inside and inedible. Overall not good.

Very wide choice of menu. Might have been better to limit it at lunchtime. Restaurant empty when we arrived at 12.30 but full by 1.30. Book early for a table. Food a bit variable - some very good, rabbit stew tasty but a bit tough. Coq au Vin first rate . Chocolate musse for dessert not dark enough! Billed as dark chocolate but didn't taste more than 50% cocoa. House red very good value. Service genial and efficient.

Great location for supper, good food and large portions (could finish), friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Busy so suggest book, but they were able to accommodate couples who just turned up. All in all very pleasant, shall certainly rebook.

We went as a family group. Two adults and three young adults. Two gluten intollerant and one dairy intollerant. This place had such good menus. Its a lovely little restaurant. Spotlessly clean. Great food and fantastic service. We went on a weekday lunchtime and my nephew had to get back to college, Surdar our waiter made sure his desert was made and deliered first so he could still get desert and not miss his class. Surdar our waiter was really attentive and helpful, and just a totally nice person. Would not hesitat to go back whenever we are in this area. Loads of food choices. Ticked all the boxes
