For many years, the Kula Lodge has been a favorite for both visitors and Kama'aina alike for delicious cuisine and breathtaking views of Maui. Perched high on the slopes of Haleakala with a 180 degree view of Maui, the Kula Lodge and Restaurant is a comfortable and homey place to relax, especially on your way down from the sunrise or sunset at the crater. It is situated on 4 lovely acres and not only has a stunning botanical garden, it has the only full-service bar and live music in Kula, along with a wine cave/private dining room for special dinners/events.

The restaurant seats up to 160 guests, making it ideal for weddings and special events. The Kula Lodge outdoor Garden Terrace features a brick wood-burning pizza oven and an open view of south, central and the Maui mountains. The sunset views are absolutely phenomenal!

Kula Lodge & Restaurant is open 7 days a week for Brunch, Happy Hour and Dinner. There is also a retail shop and 5 hotel rooms on property. Call for more info!

    Been here many times and never had any complaints about the food but this time the mahi fish sandwich was not very good. The fish was very dry and tough and it smelled fishy. They gave us 20% off this meal but given how poor it was my wife was only able to eat half before she felt like she might get sick.

    I decided on outside seating. Particular table had no ocean view. It is usually cool upcountry and my food and coffee were not hot. Regardless, the food and coffee were very tasty Next time, I’ll sit inside.

    We went with four other friends for Valentine’s Day, it was a great dinner. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Our waiter Tyler was very attentive and friendly. Our friends were very impressed. We have been multiple times, and were hoping they would enjoy it. They had a great experience.

    It was an amazing Valentine's Day. The service was spot-on, the views are great, the quality and flavors of the meals were excellent. And George Kahumoku Jr. serenaded us. I can't imagine how it could have been better!

    Service was fine but value was really bad and food quality left a lot to be desired. For two people a simple breakfast that was not very good and 2 cups of coffee we spent nearly $100 including the tip. There was also a kitchen service charge of 3% added to the bill. I won’t be back .

    First time to the restaurant since the ownership transition; love the atmosphere and view. No heating or padded seats in the outdoor seating section, but it was a fun experience being in our own little gazebo, and we so appreciate the distance our waitress and waitstaff go to bring your meals: a great tea selection, warm bowl of French onion soup and a hot pizza are options to warm you up on a cold day; a cute market is available on property if you need a sweatshirt; anticipate a 20 degree temp change from your favorite beach.

    We had the outstanding quiche!!! We come to the Kula lodge every trip to Maui because of the great food at this establishment. Service was great too.
