   The food is first class quality. .. with the various presentations of seafood, whether as appetizer or entree, perfectly prepared and beautifully presented. Delicious! All appetizers are creative in ingredient and construction, tender to the bite and a mix of interesting flavors. The meat dishes are no less enjoyable. they are overall, a delight to the palate. Of course, whether to begin the meal or to complete it, the cocktails and after dinner selections are amazing in their own right, in both presentation and flavor. Juniper's aims for a first class flavor experience and that is what you get. As to the wait staff, we have found them to be accommodating, friendly, patient and with good humor. By the way, we visit both summer and winter and the experience has been consistent any season.

   The food was very good and the service was excellent by our waiter Cody. Best filet mignon I’ve had in a long time and my companions said the pork chop was really delicious. First time visiting Junioer despite living in EagleVail and we really enjoyed every aspect of our experience. Has a cozy vibe which I appreciate on a cold night!

   Overall, the food was mediocre. We had brussels sprouts that were undercooked and had little flavor. The truffle fries were not hot. We had a tuna/crab appetizer that was strange and the flavor was unappealing. my wife had trout that was a bit fishy. My one daughter had halibut that was good. My other daughter had trout and they were two hairs on the fish. My son and I had the pork chop and it was undercooked. The flavor was not great. They placed some rather tasteless guacamole on top that seemed to come from a prepackaged guacamole from a supermarket. The most disturbing thing was that I complained about the undercooked pork and even after sending it back to cook it more, there was still a portion that was undercooked. The owner of the restaurant was dismissive and rather rude about the situation instead of being apologetic. My son and I both lost our appetite. A horrible experience. The owner of Juniper told OpenTable that I did not show up for my reservation so I could not put in a review. I would never go back to this restaurant and recommend you stay away. In addition, it is extremely overpriced  My son and I both lost our appetite. A horrible experience.

   Ahhhh.... I've been waiting for this. Lets start by being very clear. The first thing I said to you, Doctor, was "I am sorry you didn't like your meal" 1st thing! In my book, that's an apology. Having said that, where do we start?? We brine our pork chop, which I explained, which will give it a slightly pink color even cooking it past 145*. You claimed it was red, it wasn't. You also ate 90% of it. As for the guacamole, we make everything in house (except for the pasta on the veal dish) As for the hair, your wife was extremely rude when the server explained that the hair didn't come from our kitchen as it was over a foot long. Putting her hand in her facing saying I am done with you isn't very cordial. No one in our kitchen has hair over 1 inch. It was from one of the 3 in your group.

   As always Juniper did not disappoint so good, the service, the food, and the total experience was exceptional and is a staple every year we come to Avon, Co. We'll be back, thanks Doug for taking such good care of us. Wendy

   Due to significant road conditions and multiple accidents I attempted to cancel my reservation but was told that I would still be charged $50 per person for the cancellation. We ended up deciding to try the roads and go. We were disappointed all the way around. Food was okay. Not great. Noise level was high. Our server was very nice but service was a little slow. Roads were worse on the way home. We will not be back.
