This is one of our favourite places to stay and eat. A beautiful view of the valley and a cozy spot in front of the fire. Dinner was wonderful with a great cocktail and wine selection. Everyone is very friendly and fun. A very special getaway experience.

I wanted to go because of the high reviews and the view. First impressions were not great. We ended up waiting at the host stand for 10 minutes before someone greeted us, despite having a reservation at the time we showed up. While the view from the restaurant is spectacular, the food was very disappointing. I ordered the harvest skillet and the entire dish fell flat. The crispy egg was great and was cooked perfectly but the vegetables were old, dry, wilted, overcooked, and lacked seasoning. The dish had way too many pickled pinions on top which over powered the entire dish. Lastly, the re fried beans on the bottom didn’t have a great flavour and and didn’t pair with the roasted veggies. Overall, a very strange combination of flavours. I think if it was put into a piping bag so the beans could be dolloped around the dish, the flavours would be more balanced. But every bite had bean paste on them which ruined it and made the dish look very unappealing. I think a few changes could make this dish significantly better. Even my husband, who eats anything, didn’t want to finish the dish. The benny was fine but the fry bread base got soggy and wasn’t anything special. The potatoes also lacked seasoning. I think there are dishes on the menu that would have been better (French toast…) but the dishes we got were not good. The view was nice which is the only reason why I would return. Not worth the price.

Camryn, thank you for sharing your thoughtful and detailed feedback. I’m sorry to hear that your meal didn’t meet your expectations, as this is far from the level of quality and care we aim to provide. While I’m glad you enjoyed the beautiful view, it’s disappointing to know that your experience with the food fell short. Please know that this is not reflective of our usual standards, and I regret that you experienced less than what we’re known for. Your care in describing your experience mean a lot, and I want to thank you for taking the time to share it with us. I hope you’ll give us another chance to show you the kind of exceptional experience we take pride in delivering. Please don’t hesitate to let us know when you might visit again—we’d love the opportunity to make it right.

We were so excited for our brunch at The Juniper and were extremely let down. Pros: food quality was nice- not outstanding but honestly the absolute best part of our experience. First, the table we were offered when we arrived was dirty, in the doorway, and just not at all the kind of table you’d expect when you have a reservation (with a $30 per person deposit). So we asked if we could wait for another table (there were several on the other side empty that just hadn’t been cleared yet). The person who greeted us was pretty curt and told us we’d have to join the waitlist for walk in tables which we were fine with. But then he started seating other tables that walked in without reservations after us. So we asked, and he said he thought we specifically wanted a window (which would be nice but we didn’t specify that) and so we said were actually fine to sit anywhere that was currently open. At this point we were a little annoyed for sure but wrote it off as a small enough miscommunication. Then though, we were never brought waters or greeted once we were sat. From the time we sat a table to the time our orders (for both drinks and food) were taken, was almost 40 minutes. Honestly the only thing that kept us from walking out was the loss of the hold money we were charged when we made the reservation. Service was clearly short staffed, and we were willing to be patient but we were just clearly ignored, even having to go up to host stand to pay because we had our finished dishes on our table for over 15 minutes and no one came to clear them or bring the bill. It felt like an absolute waste of time and money.

Dear Seanne, Thank you so much for sharing your experience with us. I’m genuinely sorry for the series of disappointments you encountered, from the seating challenges to the delays in service. This is not the kind of experience we aim to provide, and I’m truly sorry that we let you down on a day you had looked forward to. Please keep an eye out for a personal message from me shortly. If you happen to have a copy of your check, it would be helpful in understanding where we fell short and how we can improve. Thank you again for your valuable feedback, and I look forward to connecting with you directly.

Absolutely delicious food. We split the Benny trio and could not get over how delicious the bread and hollandaise sauce were. They may have been short staffed as the service was quite slow but they were lovely gentlemen.

We had a lonely dinner at the Juniper Bistro. We were able to sit right by a fireplace that was regularly tended to and along with being one of the few people in the restaurant it made for a cozy and personal environment. Our server was lovely and attentive. Food was served shortly after being ordered and the cider and mojito drinks were delicious. Highly recommend the chef's cut bison platter, it is worth the price!
