Family owned and operated since 1992, Jonathan’s has become one of Long Island’s most desirable culinary landmarks. Jonathon’s has become a family favorite! Healthy sized cocktails. Great bread basket. Amazing creamy special soup. All salads and entrees terrific! Waiters are friendly and do a terrific job. Never disappointed here!

This is a lovely restaurant. We all enjoyed our early dinner. Our server, Peter was accommodating and friendly. The food was delicious and the menu had a variety of entrees. A waffle sundae for dessert topped off the occasion. We highly recommend this establishment for small or large gatherings.

I have been to this restaurant several times and the experience has been pleasant until today. I had originally made a reservation for a small group of my friends for lunch to celebrate the holidays. When I got there this afternoon, I saw that the table they had assigned for us was near the door, it was more like a corner booth with additional chairs around it. Since it was very cold today so I kindly asked the host if they could put us in the big dining room because I can see the big dining area was mostly not occupied. There were two people at the reception area, the man was very nice and immediately went to the dining room to see if he could find us a table. But I can tell the other female host was not happy. It took this man a mere one minute to try to help us and I did not realize this female host followed us to the back and was trying to interject. When the man pointed to a round table I like, this female host immediately said no, it is already reserved for other guests. But this man said, no it is okay, I am able to move things around. But I can tell this female host was unhappy, and she said to me "that table is near an exit door also, why is it okay now?" , she looked quite unpleasant, and when I asked her, "are people are allowed to leave from that door?" (though I already knew the answer..) she said "no".... so I just looked at her and wanted to say something, but I held back... she walked away, and I can tell she was not happy at all!! I hope the owner of this restaurant get to review my comments.

Normally I request to be seated at table 15, but today we have another favorite - the last booth by the side door exit. It’s comfortable and somewhat private. Our food choices have always been delicious. And our waiter today was delightful.
