Artistically designed with unique sculptures, Javier's Crystal Cove provides guests with ocean views in a cozy, contemporary atmosphere to enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine. It opened its doors in 2008 on Newport Beach and is conveniently close to the Crystal Cove Shopping Center. This restaurant offers guests an upscale dining experience with such entrees as the Maine lobster enchilada topped with Monterey jack cheese and grilled chicken breasts braised in chipotle sauce. Javier's Crystal Cove serves a variety of fresh seafood dishes, appetizers and delicious desserts. It has a full bar that features numerous tequilas, cocktails, beers and wine. Javier's Crystal Cove also offers outdoor dining. It accepts reservations over the phone and online.

    Fantastic - Javier’s never fails! With friend in town for the holiday we wanted to do something festive for late afternoon drinks and then an early dinner. Service was outstanding - starting with sitting at the PCH side bar where our original bartender is still serving up perfect jalapeño margaritas — to the hostess who easily accommodated our request for table in that area for dinner — and then the food stoke the show. Queso fundido was terrific, Pork Verde and the Salmon dishes were ‘off the charts’ and the chicken Enchiladas and Crispy Tacos were perfect. Javier’s ALWAYS lives up to it’s reputation. We’ll be back again & again!

    Went there for a little holiday/birthday dinner with friends. I hadn’t gone since before the renovations and the restaurant looks beautiful! Amazing service from the check in staff to those clearing the tables! For some of my friends being their first time there, they loved it and will go back! Thank you!

    We werent seated until 5:30 despite our 5pm reservation through open table and had to wait outside with 4 kids. The two girls at the front had terrible attitude and kept on saying 5-10minutes without apologizing and gave us a 6person seat for a party of 8 near the entrance. Said its because we wanted to get seated soon and that we can wait another 10-15mins if we want a proper table. The two hostess at front blamed everything on customers never apologized and were very rude. Waiter was nice.

    Food is what makes Javier’s a place to eat. The service was below average. Waiter was mora annoyed than personable. As he took our order he was looking around and seemed preoccupied. Ordered the plate for two and after the food was dropped never saw the waiter again.

    SO LOUD! Can’t carry on a conversation at a table. Great food, service and ambience but unless you are 3 sheets to the wind you can’t enjoy it. Worst music track ever!!!

    Dined on Christmas Eve. Delicious food, felt a bit rushed, not knowing the kitchen was closing at 3:00. Totally understand, staff to go home and enjoy family. Would have been nice to have known while making our reservation.
