Artistically designed with unique sculptures, Javier's Crystal Cove provides guests with ocean views in a cozy, contemporary atmosphere to enjoy authentic Mexican cuisine. It opened its doors in 2008 on Newport Beach and is conveniently close to the Crystal Cove Shopping Center. This restaurant offers guests an upscale dining experience with such entrees as the Maine lobster enchilada topped with Monterey jack cheese and grilled chicken breasts braised in chipotle sauce. Javier's Crystal Cove serves a variety of fresh seafood dishes, appetizers and delicious desserts. It has a full bar that features numerous tequilas, cocktails, beers and wine. Javier’s is a great place for Mexican cuisine. It was what I would consider moderately priced ($30-$40 per entree avg). The drinks were expensive at $10 a beer and $18 for a margarita. The food was good. Not the VERY best I have had but close. It was extremely crowded and noisy so keep that in mind when going on a weekend evening.

Javier’s staff went above and beyond to make our daughter’s 21st birthday celebration special! The gorgeous sunset was an added bonus!

I usually don't like to take the time to do this, but the truth is that this day the food was not salty, very salty, two plates for 12 people and he served it.What can I do? The children's plate never arrived, then there was a plate for some people who had guests that didn't arrive on time either, they arrived as if they were thinking they were going to eat, we had a very bad experience.
