Heaters and blankets assure you of a comfortable, safe dining experience year-round; dress warmly for optimal outdoor dining.

Unfortunately we have chosen to close down for December 2-3 all day and for December 4th for lunch. We will be opening for Dinner on the 4th starting at 5:00pm. This is due to renovations we will have to do to our kitchen.

You have reserved a true traditional Japanese experience floor seating (with no well under the table for legs). Remove your shoes, and take a step onto our tatami room. A garden window view completes this unique dining experience. This is a unique experience, but it can be challenging for those with limited flexibility. Please let us know in advance if you need to change these reservations, as we will not be able to offer other options upon arrival. Children under 10 are not recommended.

Every single dish that we ordered…8 in count….were really, really great! And, my wife is a gluten sensitive vegetarian. And, the Sake too! Belen and Victoria and all of the staff …were fantastic! Thank you, Izanami!

This is where we go when we want to treat ourselves and spend a really special evening with friends or family. It never disappoints. The decor and atmosphere is lovely. The food is great and perfect for sharing. We love the yellowtail roll, the fried oysters, the pork ribs - to name only a few. the servers are pleasant, friendly, personable without being intrusive. Secret tip: for some reason it's not on the menu, but they offer sake flights and that's a fun way to try out different ones. Our only problem yesterday, and this was not the fault of the restaurant, was the unruly, extremely shrill, probably drunk group of six people at the neighboring table. It was impossible to converse or even relax. This group should have gone to a bar instead, they were ill-placed in this serene environment and they were super annoying. Fortunately the staff were able to find us a different table and it became a beautiful evening as usual.

Fabulous on every level. Cooking the beef on the stone was cool. Love the surprise in the middle of the matcha cake.

Friendly, attentive service. The beautifully presented food was excellent, with great flavor! It came out fresh/warm as mentioned by our server. We enjoyed the view from the window seat. And found the experience pleasant and relaxing! Would highly recommend!
