   Deeply disappointing. Staff were pleasant but took us a while to get us seated for our reservation despot there being multiple tables free. The food was mediocre. Sushi rice tasted chewy. Our server was lovely but one dish never turned up despite us constantly being told it was coming. Needs to seriously up its game to match the spa. A real shame.

   We were 45 minutes into our reservation before we got our appetizer. Then it took another 25 minutes and they brought one plate out and disappeared. Two of us were still waiting for our meal which came out another 15 minutes later. By that time I had lost my appetite. At least I was looking forward to the sorbe ice cream only to find out another 15 minutes later that they ran out. They brought us some other popsicle dessert that was not good. All in all this was the worst experience I have had there. I brought my sister who was visiting from out of town. We were looking forward to it. Super bummed. I wish the server cared more about our experience. He even charged us for the dessert when it was supposed to come with the February special. No discount offered at all. Not sure I would go back.

   Food was good but not as strong as it's been in the past. Very good flavors across the board but the wagyu beef nigiri was overly fatty and the fired chicken was too dense and dry. The service was very slow with awkwardly timed pacing. Half the entrees were provided more than 20 minutes after the others. They claimed it was a Japanese tradition to provide the plates based on when the chief completed them. I'm not sure if this is true but what I can tell you was the waiter seemed surprised it was so out of sync.

   This restaurant never disappoints! The food and service are consistently amazing, making every visit a great experience. We come once a year, and the sake options are always excellent. The menu is always refreshed with new and exciting items. Can’t wait to return next year!

   Izanami was 10/10! Had heard wonderful things about it, and it exceeded all expectations! The food was INSANELY DELICIOUS, and the biggest sake list I’ve ever seen (heavenly)! You can’t go wrong with a single item on the menu. Plus the vibe was unreal, wish I could live in this place!

   This was an excellent if unusual choice to celebrate Valentines Day. We are glad we made the decision. Every dish was excellent and the presentation beautiful. We ate inside in the main dining room which added a bit of "Drama" to the meal. The only thing that could have been better was the heat in the room. I was chilly but they provided a blanket for my wife which worked well. We will certainly be back!!

   My husband and I went for Lunch and really enjoyed it. The food was excellent and the ambiance was very nice.

    Lovely visit to this beautiful place. Liked the open kitchen. Saki menu was extensive. I do wish they had someone available to help with selection. The waitress was nice but didn’t instill confidence in her knowledge in that area. Food and presentation were both VERY good.
