Il Terrazzo Carmine is located in historic Pioneer Square - nestled in an urban-renewed alley with entrances through the vintage lobby on First Avenue or through the delightful courtyard in the back.     This restaurant exceeded expectations! Short walk from Lumen Field, impeccable service, delicious food. Our server, Kyle, was professional, knowledgeable and attentive. All restaurant staff were courteous and helpful. Food was very good! Gnocchi was light and tender and the shrimp saffron risotto was excellent. My wife and I brought a bottle of wine from our cellar and Kyle opened it for us without any discernible attitude. We also split the caprese salad and it was served on two plates for our convenience. Just an excellent experience all around. Will definitely return here.

    Ambience and service good. Menu a bit dated and minimal lighter options. Seasonings not subtle. I went with an older friend and I thought they were a little condescending to her. Overall a bit disappointing and not sure I would go again.
