              Excellent meal - worth asking if you have time, and there is 2 of you to get close to the railing (outside) makes it a better setting

              Overall, it was better than average in all aspects. The seafood special and the accompanying sauces were delicious. Steak was cooked properly. Mushroom fries appetizer was also superb. Our server was also efficient and amiable. Downside was parking. Website indicated validated parking at the Ohana East garage. We called the restaurant 2 hours before our reservation to confirm parking information was correct. It was confirmed. Upon arrival at the garage, attendant said parking was only for hotel guests, not for any of the restaurant patrons due to construction underway. What an unfortunate lapse of communication between restaurant and garage reflecting poorly on the organization and communication skills of management in this aspect! 6:00 p.m. dinner hour is not the best time to find an alternative location to park in busy Waikiki. We called this to the attention of the hostess and our server upon arrival. Both were apologetic and explained that it was probably not communicated by the garage to the restaurant. Nonetheless this incident certainly detracted from what would otherwise have been a positive dining experience.

              Great service. The hostess held our table since we were running late. Our server was extremely accommodating to my mom’s dietary restrictions. Food was okay. The ambience was really nice at the outdoor table.

              Totally recommend the Hula Grill! Loved the fish special and hula pie. Staff were quick to draw awning when a brief rain storm started. AJ gave great service!

              I am visiting from Japan. Every time I visit there, I eat Coconuts Clam Chowder. It is very tasty and I love it. I am really looking forward to having it the next time.

              Delicious açaí bowls, great service from Aubree, a stunning view of the ocean / Diamond Head, plus live music at Saturday brunch adds up to a lovely way to spend part of your weekend in Waikiki. One of our favorite spots!
