Service was really lacking-it was a good 10 minutes after we were seated before we saw our waiter. Out of 12 beers on tap they were out of 4 of them. I ordered a pale ale and received a stout Our appetizers didn’t come out together and we had to ask again for the second appetizer since it never came out. When the pizza we ordered finally came out after 45 minutes after we ordered it, it was as the wrong pizza. There was a table that was so loud that they disturbed everyone in the entire restaurant . People directly next to them left before their meal was finished and yet they only got louder. Overall a huge disappointment Pizza was good even though the second one came back the same as the first one that was sent back

Server was great. Food was fairly good. Prices are high. Most other diners were young families with poorly behaved children (lots of crying) we should've booked later but had other plans. So not the best setting for a romantic dinner. Drinks were good. Setting is beautiful. It was a fairly empty dining room and we were seated against an interior wall versus near the gorgeous view of the White Mtns. They could certainly do better for what they charge. Disappointed given what could have been.

Rude hostess, extremely slow service and sub par food. Nice view. Overpriced for low quality food.

No outdoor dining even though it specifies outdoor patio on Open table. Service was great. Food was good. Lots of families and small children there for the pizza on Saturday night. Same menu as the Wine Cellar which we did on Friday night. Great views.

We had a lovely dinner at the Harvest Tavern, not realizing when we made the reservation that the restaurant is inside the Mountain View Grand Resort, a lovely setting. We had excellent mains - lamb shank and salmon- and tasty sides. The setting was less like a tavern than a casual restaurant, with families dining beside us, but the service was very good and the waiter friendly. We would gladly dine there again.

We were looking forward to coming here to celebrate our anniversary, though this ended up being the low of our trip. We chose the restaurant for good looking vegetarian options on the online menu, though there wasn’t a single vegetarian entree on the menu when we got there. We ordered salad and the one pasta they could offer, though both were bland. I’m glad we had snacks at the brewery that afternoon and weren’t too hungry. Our bread appetizer was brought out after the meal and placed behind the table decorations without care. Despite the restaurant being relatively empty, the server brought our check shortly after the food without being asked. Only after we had paid, were we asked if we wanted dessert. The dining room has a stunning view of the mountains which was the only positive in our evening with very poor service and unappetizing food.

Dinner for 3. Very noisy as school vacation. Server frenetic. Bread basket for purchase was not very good. Rolls not warm. Corn bread crumbly. French onion soup good. Kids buffet fair at best (daughter said whoopie pie was dry. Pasta just okay. I had the special for $62. It tasted good but steak was very small. Wines by the glass are basic. Husband had pork - meet ok but string beans very garlicky. Overall expensive for a noisy atmosphere and okay food at expensive prices.

We were looking forward to celebrating our anniversary dinner at Mt. View Grand. It had been many years since our last visit. While the service was good, the food was disappointing. Of two appetizers and two dinners, only my Wedge Salad appetizer was good. My wife's appetizer, a Mushroom and Goat Cheese Tart, was very disappointing. It had a tough shell with mushrooms placed on top and had no flavor. Her main course, salmon, came with a mustard glaze that was completely burnt and uneatable, and her salmon was overcooked. My Cioppino came with a small piece of swordfish in a very bland sauce, and mussels that were uneatable. Either they were old, over cooked, or both, Instead of plump juicy mussels, these were stuck to the shells and stringy? At $52.00, this was a ripoff. I've had better Cioppino at half the price. Regarding atmosphere, while the wall and ceiling treatments are pretty, the overall atmosphere was bland and somewhat banquet-like. It certainly was not an intimate, dining experience. And while our reservation specified our anniversary, no attention was paid to it. It's a beautiful place but our dining experience was a real disappointment, and we do frequent fine dining restaurants.
