Our server Damian was absolutely the best! there were 6 of us and each of us felt that his service was impeccable! He was polite, efficient, engaging, and so helpful! We love Hamiltons. Always have, always will!

We had a brief visit to Charlottesville and decided to grab dinner downtown. The menu, food, and service did not disappoint. We will return! The crabcakes and fried oyster appetizer was delicious.

Second visit - didn’t disappoint. We were in early, so it was quiet and not as busy as our last visit. My wife had crab cakes (big, flavorful, not a lot of filler). I had the trout - super tasty. Be sure to get the chocolate flourless cake - this is the best dessert we have had (including chocolate in Belgium).

Always a special treat for us, we can count on good food, and excellent service. Only drawback is the noise level when the restaurant is really busy. Today's lunch was pleasant as there were fewer diners because of the holiday. We are vegetarians and appreciate having a choice when we go there.
