Everything was outstanding from Jason our server to the oysters, wedge salad, filet mignon, Mahi special and sides with them. We were celebrating our 46th wedding anniversary and they made it special. Chocolate mousse was yummy. I loved the Four Aces Pinot Gris and my wife the Brut champagne. It is pricey but worth it.

They catered our wedding in March of 2023 and now every time we come back to the island this is our first stop for dinner! Never missed and don’t sleep on the steak stir fry!

We had not been to Halyards in many years but since it was my birthday I decided to make the reservations there. What a wonderful dinner! From the instant we got there we felt pampered. Service was great, food was amazing, probably the best steaks we have ever had! I know we will be looking for another opportunity to go back soon!

My husband & I love sitting at the bar at Halyard’s for a martini and a good meal. Last night I ordered the chopped wedge salad and a bowl of the crab soup, which is hard to get and is always delicious here. Classic low-country “she-crab” soup. Adding sherry as the menu provides, is a must.

I really enjoy this place. Best dining experience on St Simons. Great atmosphere, friendly service, and delicious fresh food. Chef and owner Dave always says hello when we are dining here. I highly recommend this restaurant. You won’t be disappointed.
