   We frequent GHT when we have theater tickets. In fact our server Laura recognized us from our last visit. I don’t know what happened last night but the service was awful. It took so long for our drinks to arrive that the entree came 1 minute later & we drank our cocktails with the food & never ordered wine. We ordered coffee & dessert. My double expresso was half cold & in an cup for an americano. The desserts took so long to arrive that Laura, our server, comped them. I suspect it was just a bad night but I hate to cross GHT off our list. It’s usually great & so convenient.

   I've been to Glass House Tavern numerous times, and their menu and service have never disappointed. The noise level is quite high, but it is a very enjoyable place

   Always excellent customer service and the food is well prepared and beautifully presented. It's one of my go to restaurants in the theater district. Highly recommend!

   It was a little chaotic when I arrived to get seating but everyone worked to quickly through it. I sat in the bar area and Keem immediately met me and got my drink order. Keem was a calming spirit in the midst of all going on around me and I felt shielded from the world. I had the Lamb Bolognese which I’ve had multiple times here and it was as delicious as it’s always been. I booked my next visit while sitting there. The excellent service I receive is what keeps me coming back.

   We had reservations after the theater and were quickly seated. However, our server was not the least bit personable. It seemed that he would rather be anywhere else but serving us. He was very inattentive. My husband ordered the duck dish and he just didn't like it (and he generally loves duck). I had the salmon and the risotto was good but the salmon was undercooked with not much flavor. Our server never asked if we liked our food and didn't ask if we wanted dessert. The bar downstairs was pretty loud. Too many good restaurants in NYC to go back to this one.

    We sat in the bar for lunch. Everything was delicious especially the cheesecake for dessert. The staff was very friendly and the bartender/waiter makes a great Manhattan.
