   WHEN WE MOVED HERE MANY MANY YEARS AGO... THE FIRST PLACE WE DINED AT WAS GABRIEL'S. WE BECAME FRIENDS IMMEDIATELY WITH THE OWNER. THEN WE HAD TO SPEND A LOT OF TIME AT MY PARENTS HOME IN ITALY SO WE WEREN'T BACK FOR A COUPLE OF YEARS. I WAS SHOCKED WHEN WE RETURNED AND IMMEDIATELY WENT TO GABRIEL'S FOR DINNER AND WE FOUND THE OWNERSHIP HAD CHANGED. SORT OF MADE US SAD. BUT WE DINE THERE NOW OFTEN...NOW THAT WE'VE RETURNED TO OUR HOME HERE. EVERYTHING SEEMS THE SAME QUALITY..I JUST MISS SITTING AND CHATTING WITH THE ORIGINAL OWNER. ANITA DE DOMENICO.    Arrived 20 before our scheduled reservation. Seated immediately. Table side guacamole - awesome. 2 different entrée’s that we shared. Both excellent.

   Very good meal - good ribs, outstanding guacamole. FYI-the Elote is one whole ear of corn, not casserole format. Great experience.

   Gabriel’s is just north of town, but very easy to get to. The place was packed, and we were very happy to have made reservations! (Highly recommend) We were seated right away and our friendly waiter quickly brought us chips and salsa. My pork tacos were very good, especially with the fresh guacamole. The bean side dish, although visually not too appealing, was delicious! Very casual dress and atmosphere. I recommend trying it!

   Gabriel's is a must go to, especially before the Santa Fe Opera or a show at Buffalo Thunder resort. The food is good, the staff is excellent and reasonably priced.

   This was a wonderful experience for all of us. We took our out-of-town guests there and they were so happy with everything. Lovely.

   We've eaten at Gabriel's several times and have never been disappointed. Service is superb which seems to be a rarity at restaurants theses days. Christian, our waiter, was fun, energetic and attentive.

    Had the table side Guacamole. Best ever! Highly recommend a stop for Guac and a couple of drinks. Screwdriver appeared to be made with fresh squeezed orange juice. Delicious.
