Outstanding service and an inviting atmosphere make Fried Green a must stop while in downtown historic Galena, Illinois. Fried Green Tomatoes is the place for steak, fresh scallops, and homemade lasagna. Reservations accepted.

PLEASE NOTE: We are a multi-level dining facility in a historic downtown building. For the dining enjoyment for all of our guests, we do not provide highchairs or booster seats.

    From start to finish, we had a great experience. Food was great, staff (especially the host staff) were super accommodating and friendly. Would definitely recommend this place!

    From entering to leaving a perfect dining experience. A lot of places forgo this: A anniversary greeting as we entered, card on the table and complimentary dessert made for a great dinner. Food was very good, service was professional and courteous. Your not rushed through service, you can sit, relax and enjoy your meal. Overall an 11 out of ten. Would highly recommend.

    We had a great dinner. It was a pleasure to see the many Gluten Free options available. Our waiter was very good and very knowledgeable about the gf options and other items that could be modified to make them gluten free .

    This was our first time dining at Fried Green Tomatoes. The service was top notch and the food was delicious. We tried the fried green tomatoes for our appetizers and wow, they were amazing!

    Excellent service, even when we unexpectedly added 2 people. The crab cakes, espresso steak were delicious. Our server Spencer did a commendable job keeping us on track.
