As always the food is delicious and the service exceptional (shout out to Marie :) As for the crying kids that could have been handled better by family. Definitely an establishment who standards and quality have not changed. One of our favorites. Thanks again for another delicious meal.

We went last Saturday evening for my birthday celebration. We made the reservation 3 weeks in advance and could only get 8pm. We arrived prior to 8pm and waited about 15 minutes to be seated. Both the hostess and the server said happy bday. We were seated not only upstairs but on the third floor in a hallway with an awful draft so much I had to wear my sweater the entire meal. My bf ordered the filet medium well and we both asked for just a tiny bit of pink. My filet tips were fine but his was completely red. We sent it back even though we do not like doing so. It came back just as red as if they didn’t cook it again. She came back over and said the chef admitted it was his mistake and she took it off of the bill. It was so awkward and i ended up barely eating bc I was sitting watching my bf only eat a potato for dinner. The experience was completely ruined at that point. He insisted i order dessert bc he saw my excitement when the booth in front of us ordered the crème brûlée which their server lit at the table, with a candle and she wished them a happy bday again. When mine came out it was just handed to me lit and she said the flame goes out on its own. No candle either. I doubt we will be returning to spend nearly $200 with sub par food and experience. I did snag some pics of what we did have.

Love the Franklinville Inn, my wife had the Filet Tips Oscar and raved about it. I had the prime rib and have to say it was probably the worst cut of meat I’ve ever encountered at the Franklinville. Overly fatty, I had a 3” diameter mound of fat on my plate after my cutting away the meat and with that much fat it was the greasiest piece of prime rib. I think I’d stick with the filet or MY strip when we return.

This place never disappoints. From the wedge salad to the apple pie and ice cream for dessert. The menu is not large ,but everything on it is special.

We were on a date night and seated in a tiny room with a large/loud party of 6. Is was not a good experience. The food and service were good but there were a lot of empty tables and booths when we arrived so we should not have been placed in that room.

Always a great time, 1st class food and service. We would like to visit more frequently but unfortunately your price structure makes this impractical.
