The food wasn’t inedible but for a $300 meal for two people (including tip) it left much to be desired. Half of the mussels in the app had sharp, broken shells that were either stuck in the mussel itself or floating around in the sauce. The crab cakes were mostly filling and mass produced. The “colorado” lamb chops had SO MUCH FAT on them. It was not Colorado lamb, but I was charged Colorado lamb prices. The porterhouse steak was mediocre. Our server didn’t crack a smile once, actually grunted in response to a request instead of answering “yes”. The beer, sangria and espresso martini were good.

Everything would have been perfect if the waiter would have been attentive. There were four of us out to enjoy a leisurely lunch. We were served our salads before we were handed menus. The menus were handed to us 30 seconds after the salads were served leaving us absolutely no room to read the menu. No one approached the table to fill out water glasses. They were never filled. Bread and accompaniments were brought to the table and were promptly remover within 10 minutes. I and my sister had rolls in out bread dish and they too were removed before our appetizers were served. I had to ask that they be replaced. Still no water refills. I earlier asked for a large bottle of San Pellegrino and was brought a bottle of Voss water. When I questioned the switch the waiter said they don’t have San Pellegrino but that Voss is the same. I refused it and said we would just have tap water. Through our first three courses the waiter removed our used utensils from our used plates and put these dirty utensils on the tablecloth so that we can use them again. All the table was set with was one knife and one dinner fork. No salad fork I particularly do not like to put dirty utensils on the table to use again. We were given an opportunity to order wine or sangria when we arrived (as soon as we sat down) and I said after we order I would be happy to order a bottle of wine but the waiter forgot and so did I. If service was good I would have tipped over 20% but under normal circumstances I would have tipped 10% for terrible service. No one ever checked on our table to see if we wanted anything (water) or if everything was fine. I did tip 20% because it is nearing Christmas and the restaurant was very busy. This is the only reason I didn’t give all 5 stars

Came here with a few former colleagues for lunch. As usual, the service & food were superb. The chicken picatta melted in my mouth. So full of flavor. The entire experience is unlike any other. Can’t wait to visit again.

The restaurant is located in an older neighborhood, and the restaurant is also older. Fornos has made this all part of a very charming dining experience. I have not seen a restaurant with this many staff members in years. The food service was quick. My wife had the Short Ribs, which was the best she has ever had. I had Seafood Paella, there were many different types to choose from. It was served on noodles with rice on the side. I did not care for the rice. I have only had better Paella once, which was made for us in our home. Wine is primarily a very nice Spanish selection with a small domestic listing.

We liked the ambience, the authentic feeling of being in Spain, the excellent service, the included salad and desert. Unfortunately, and very surprisingly, the Paella Valenciana did not meet expectations. The chicken was dry, the mussels were overcooked, the lobster was dry and could have used, very much, a butter dip, and the shrimp were miniscule. I would be embarrassed to serve shrimp that small. I certainly would say this is not a place for "value," it is very expensive, but you go for the other attributes. In fact, the other food served at our table, was very good. Would I go back? Absolutely, but would be more careful on what I ordered

My husband and I went we ordered one appetizer , two entrees , two desserts a glass of wine and glass of sangria they did not disappoint , Fornos truly delivered an exceptional dining experience! From start to finish, everything exceeded expectations. The food was nothing short of spectacular, and the atmosphere made for a relaxing, enjoyable evening. As soon as we were seated, the staff promptly took our drink orders and brought out warm bread and fresh salads for everyone. It was the perfect way to settle in while browsing the extensive dinner menu—no sense of being rushed at all. The service was fantastic; the servers were attentive and made sure everything flowed seamlessly. We started with an appetizer, followed by our entrees, and let me tell you, the portions are incredibly generous! The side dishes could easily be a meal on their own. Just when we thought we couldn’t eat another bite, the dessert and coffee options a must have. The house-made churros with chocolate sauce were the perfect sweet ending to a phenomenal meal. If you’re looking for a place with amazing food, excellent service, and a warm ambiance, Fornos is a must-visit. Come hungry—you won’t regret it! We’ll definitely be returning soon.
