Located in Fulton Market District within Chicago’s bustling West Loop, Formento’s is an Italian restaurant steeped with the bright and fresh flavors of Italy. Created as a nod to the owner’s grandmother, guests will experience an array of dishes from house-made pastas, seasonal antipasti and wood-fired fish and steak. At Formento’s, Chef David Schwartz combines new world culinary creativity with generations past. Our world-class wine program offers guests more than 300 varietals from around world.

Three private event spaces can accommodate parties of 10 to 200 guests in an intimate second floor loft overlooking Restaurant Row, featuring a private bar and amenities.

My husband & I wanted to try their menu as we’re searching for a venue to host an anniversary celebration, and Formento’s has been so kind to us. We felt so welcomed and invited by their kind staff. Mina, our wonderful waitress for the evening, was so thoughtful. She made sure everything we ordered came out in perfect timing so each pasta would be hot and fresh. And the food itself? Outstanding. Fresh pasta, gorgeous sauces, indulgent starters & sides. We were so happy from start to finish. Thank you, Formento’s!

                                                                                          Went for a birthday dinner, the vibe was nice, our waitress was very attentive and provided excellent service. I got the Bucatini Carbonara and the tiramisu which were both excellent. Will definitely be back!

                                                                                          Perfecto! The service was amazing, thoughtful, and well-paced. All of the dishes were delicious and tasted so fresh. The gluten free options are out of this world (I mean GF bread, pasta, and tiramisu - do I need to say more?)!! Really worth a visit. We will be back!
