   My favorite restaurant in Austin, everything is to die for. The menu is always seasonal and delicious, and $1 oysters are a no brainer.

   We called cause stuck in awful traffic!!! 25 min late! They fit us end. Amazing dinner w out of town friends!!!

   We love supporting local restaurants & this one has been on our list for awhile! The food was great although not substantial. You'll need a couple of starters along with your entree which is a great way to try more dishes. The wheels fell off on service & ambiance. We would go again but sit outside because the noise level in the tiny interior gets pretty loud when the place is full. Our server took his time greeting us and then wouldn't stay away after that. Even going so far as to look over my shoulder as I was studying the bill before placing my credit card down. Rude! Oh and I have no idea where anyone would park. 5 spots for the whole restaurant. We got lucky, otherwise... idk. If this place were better ventilated and the server better trained on etiquette we would've given it 5 stars.

   This place was truly amazing! I could not believe how delicious and amazing the food is! Definitely made with love and fresh ingredients! Highly recommend and will become a regular! The food was sooo good, it is hard to stop thinking about it!

   Celebrated my wives birthday with her office. Started rough because no one came to great us for 20 minutes. Then service was good. After we finished it took 30 minutes to get our check, and 30 minutes for the server to run our credit cards. Definitely should NOT take 1 hour to leave your restaurant. Unacceptable and questionable if we return

   Service was outstanding. Limited menu. Small plates outshine the entrees. Was looking forward to a burger with meat from 44 Farms but burger was way over seasoned. Best part of meal was the desert!

   My wife and I did the wild mushroom tasting menu. Fantastic, each course with a unique flavor. Tried a couple of different wines from a special offering as well. Service was excellent as well. The chef sent over an additional course as well. Thank you for a very enjoyable evening.

   We checked the hours and saw the restaurant closed at 9:30 p.m. Our reservation was at 7:15 p.m., and we left around 9:05 p.m., feeling that our waitress was pushing us to leave. Although the restaurant wasn’t busy, she checked in on us far too often, interrupting our low-volume conversation and bringing the bill eagerly. When I asked if there was a rush, she said no, but it didn’t feel that way. It made it difficult to relax and enjoy our time.

   I have to say both my husband and I were unimpressed with Foreign and Domestic, especially since we’ve had it on our list for a while. It would have been nice to have a standard fish dish, sea bass or salmon maybe, the only option was the Market fish, swordfish. The mushroom pierogi and fingerling potatoes were good but both were overly salty. The Gruyère popovers were overrated - I expected there to be cheese in the popover, but it was just grated on top. Not much flavor. My husband’s hamburger tasted good but was small. I order the steak medium rare, which arrived very rare. I hate being “that person” but I did send it back. Not the best cut so a bit chewy, but the flavor was nice and the Shiseido peppers were a nice addition. Lots of sparkling wine options but only two reds on the wine list (I’m not counting the Beaujolais). Overall, it seemed like a lot of the dishes were using less expensive ingredients (goat neck, pork collar) and charging premium prices. After discussing, we won’t be going back.

    This place is a gem! I don’t live in Austin anymore but when I’m back I never miss this place. Get a reservation at the counter and watch an amazing professional kitchen in operation.
