Flemings was our choice for our Thanksgiving meal because 1- we had dined there before, 2 - it was just going to be the two of us, and 3 - we felt confident it would be a nice experience. We had a reservation for 1:15pm, and the place was very busy. We were greeted right away and seated. Justin was our server. He was ver pleasant and thorough about the menu for the day, as well as other offerings from the regular menu, and the extensive beverage offerings. We made our choices and our drinks and meal arrived. We both ordered from the Thanksgiving menu selections. The criticism we would make is that the restaurant was understaffed for support staff - we had glasses and dishes on our table that should have been cleared far sooner than they were only after we had to grab the bus boy's attention. Also, the turkey portions were very generous, and we asked Justin to please box up the turkey and green beans...we each ordered carrot cake for dessert and received one carrot cake and one cheesecake. which we said was "ok - no need to correct. We never received our "take home" bag and when we told Justin, he went to check on it and brought a bag back- it was not ours.(no green beans and only two small pieces of turkey) Justin apologized, and offered a carrot cake to go, which we said was fine, and we left the other bag at the table. This is NOT the expectation for a high end restaurant no matter how busy it is. The assumption is that planning and appropriate training should be in place. Justin was a fine waiter - just must have been stretched too far when the second seating started arriving because the service fell apart.

Another stellar experience with Flemmings Steakhouse in North Scottsdale. It's such a special place. The staff is so friendly and attentive. We can't wait to go back. The food was amazing!!!

Food was mediocre at best. Don’t know what is going on w/ this restaurant burnt of they don’t get it together they won’t last. Clientele in this neighborhood will not pay $100-$150 per person for mediocre food and ambience.
