- MMariaVIPChicago / Illinois •6 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 6, 2025We were new to Boleo and it was nothing short of spectacular! We visited during Restaurant Week. From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted with warm smiles and exceptional service. The staff was friendly and attentive, frequently checking in to ensure we had everything we needed. The ambiance is unique, with a cozy yet vibrant atmosphere that transports you to South America. Every dish we tried was delicious and flavorful, with perfect portions. Our favorites were the Yaquitas and the Ceviche. The cocktails were also outstanding, perfectly complementing the Latin American-inspired cuisine. As first-time diners, we had a very satisfying experience and will certainly return. We highly recommend Boleo to anyone looking for a memorable dining experience in Chicago! Huge thanks to Guillermo, Jaime, and Maleka (sp?) for the warm welcome! Cheers!More infoBoleoPrice: Moderate• Latin American• Downtown / Loop•4.3
- GGeorgeChicago / Illinois •5 reviews5.0Dined on Feb 4, 2025Amaru put together a restaurant week menu that was the culinary equivalent of a highlight reel. A bold and well-composed departure from the excellent regular menu, the $60, 3- course tasting menu exemplified the restaurant’s pan-Latin influence. As a four-person party we were able to taste every item from each of the three courses and every plate was a standout. All of the portions were nearly entre-sized and there was an exuberance in the flavors and textures that showcased the kitchen’s mastery. There wasn’t a single dish that I wouldn’t be delighted to see on the regular menu. As always the service was warm and attentive. Bravo.More infoAmaruPrice: Expensive• Latin American• Bucktown / Wicker Park•4.8
